He’s also incorrect about high performance: ObjectStore performed far better than RDBMS’s or ORDBMS’s in ObjectStore’s target markets. And he’s also incorrect about reliability: plenty of products were based on ObjectStore and were quite reliable. And our users did not especially want SQL. As for “scalability”, that can mean a lot of things, but with no specific claim and no data whatsoever, it’s not a very convincing criticism. ObjectStore can handle databases that are quite large"
