State laws on how electors are selected and bound in voting might be critical to the outcome of the upcoming Presidential election.

Those of us who view Trump as an outrage to American decency are now starting to see the dangers hidden in a true democracy. Is Trump the prototype of why the Electoral College was conceived, or even if not, can it still be the last desperate tactical bunker to hold the nation away from a disastrous presidency?
